Friendly Games
As well as league fixtures, we also arrange friendly games with local teams. These can be weekday evenings or at the weekend, and are played at home or away. Players do not have to be on a registered league team, so team selection is flexible; these games are often used to give new players the opportunity for competitive games without the pressure! These game are also used for our trainee umpires to practice in an informal setting.

The rules/recommendations for friendly games are similar to league matches and training:
Arrive 15 mins before the scheduled start time
Make sure your nails are cut short (not extending above the tops of your finger pads) and are smooth
Remove all jewellery including ear-rings, nose and other piercings. A wedding band is allowed but must be completely taped
Tie back long hair
Wear a netball skirt if you have one and a plain white t-shirt/polo shirt
Wear good quality sports trainers with white soles (in case we are playing inside); they should have laces (not velcro) which should be firmly tied. Fashion trainers or plimsolls are NOT suitable
Bring a drink with you
Be prepared to play in whatever position you are asked and to spectate at times
